Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all contracts between SpeedyTutors Ltd (hereinafter “Provider”) and its customers for the provision of editing and proofreading services.

Deviating terms of the customer will not be recognized unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Contract Formation

The contract is concluded by the customer's acceptance of the Provider's offer. Acceptance occurs through:

  • Written confirmation via email
  • Payment of the agreed fee
  • Submission of the document to be edited

3. Services

The Provider offers editing and proofreading services for texts submitted by the customer. Services include:

  • Proofreading (spelling, grammar, punctuation)
  • Copy editing (style optimization, expression improvement)
  • Academic editing (citation style, technical language)
  • Formatting according to institutional requirements

Note: The Provider only edits and proofreads documents submitted by the customer. The Provider does not write new content or text passages.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are based on the current price list on the website. All prices include applicable taxes.

Payment options:

  • Bank transfer (prepayment)
  • PayPal
  • Credit card

5. Delivery

The corrected document is delivered electronically via email to the email address provided by the customer. Delivery times are specified in the order confirmation and begin with contract conclusion, receipt of full payment, and submission of the document to be edited.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a legal right of withdrawal. Detailed information about the right of withdrawal can be found in our Refund Policy.

7. Warranty

The Provider guarantees that the edited work:

  • Is carefully checked for errors
  • Meets the agreed requirements
  • Is delivered on time

Free revisions are available according to our Revisions Policy.

8. Liability

The Provider's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. In case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damage.

9. Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is important to us. Detailed information about data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.

10. Final Provisions

German law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, provided the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law, or special fund under public law.
